Programme and Project Governance Methodology
Summary
Design, development and delivery of a programme management and governance framework for a Pan-European core engineering operations project management team.
Challenge
While this organisation had a high-level gated delivery lifecycle process, it was not that effective for the core engineering operations team, who needed a different level of detail and focus on their deliverables.
Approach
Stratiformis had worked on many projects using the high-level gated delivery process. With this background, we developed a more detailed project methodology with more detailed controls to better plan resource utilisation, budgets and programme level governance. Upon completion of the methodology development, Stratiformis rolled out the methodology across an international team.
Outcome
Standardisation of a more engineering focussed project delivery process that provided greater ability to plan resource utilisation, better control of budgets and programme level controls and reporting.
