Regulatory Compliance and Control (old)
In all the sectors we work in, regulation is a constant driver for change as clients move to comply with evolving and new requirements. Almost all of our clients face the constant pressure of oversight from regulatory bodies. This often results in the need to develop and demonstrate control, transparency and reportability across business functions that have previously operated with little scrutiny, even from within the organisation. In addition, our clients increasingly wish to be able to operate appropriate internal controls, in order to de-risk how they run their business and demonstrate externally how ‘tightly’ they manage it.
With the knowledge of the regulatory environments that our clients work within, we make it our business to understand how these demands impact our clients in very practical terms and help them prepare for this change. Whether the impact is explicit and catering to very specific regulatory reporting requirements or to a broader framework within which the client needs to provide their own definition of compliance (where we help with the analysis and mapping), we work with our clients to interpret the impact on their business and define the strategic approach to meet the expectations of the regulator. We define the change roadmap and then execute the change needed to be able to demonstrate compliance within the timescales set by the regulator.
