Delivery of an enterprise wide accounts receivables / payables data-warehouse, replacing multiple disparate regional databases, which for the first time allowed the client to get a clear picture on their global level of exposure to brokers or re-insurers.

Challenge

Sub optimal cash flow management coupled with limited ability to quickly understand the level of exposure to creditors led this client to a review of core finance processing across the globe.

Approach

Stratiformis led the development and implementation of a new enterprise Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables DWH that incorporated all countries statutory and corporate MI requirements, and re-platformed their existing BI outputs to provide an operational dashboard greatly reducing the manual effort involved in credit control activities.

Outcome

Holding global data on their Accounts Receivables in a single repository has meant that the organisation now have a daily view on their level of exposure to global re-insurance partners and brokers, and the inclusion of historical information on matched items means that they can focus on collection metrics and improve their cash flow management.
