Programme Management of Statutory Reporting Implementation
Summary
Programme management of the end to end initiation, planning, execution and delivery of a three year programme of work to migrate statutory reporting off 11 local maintained databases to a single warehouse including converting 30 years enterprise data-of legacy data and developing more than 1200 statutory reports.
Challenge
The problem for this top 5 global insurance company was that reporting from regional and country specific databases could not be reconciled to corporate MI sourced from their enterprise platform.
Approach
Stratiformis led the transformation of their enterprise DWH, and the BI platform that sat over it, in doing so converted 30 years of legacy data and re-engineered more than a thousand reports required to meet statutory and corporate requirements.
Outcome
During the process a number of previously unknown data integrity issues were resolved and overallĀ the project meant that the different country and regional MI communities were able to contrast operational and financial reporting at a global level and reconcile to the corporate back office systems.
