Summary

Creation and management of a project to review the business readiness of an innovative international Virtual Network Operator, including review of the sales and service operations capability, BSS functionality, Network Topology and customer facing business processes.

Challenge

This Virtual Network Operator recognised that it needed an objective assessment of it’s operational readiness for a rolling full-scale market launch to global territories.

Approach

Stratiformis designed a project comprising of four work-streams to document the end to end customer facing processes, and assessing the Sales, Customer and Subscriber Management platforms for maturity against launch requirements. This was complemented by creating an operating model framework to set the operational processes in an end-to-end context. In addition, documentation was also created to capture the existing mobile network topology.

Outcome

By undertaking the review, remedial actions were identified and prioritised, and steps taken to adapt the roll-out plans to reduce risk.
